1. Introduction
Aspirra ("we", "us", "our") connects job seekers and employers around the world. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
2. Information we collect
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and (for employers) company information such as company name, logo, industry, and location. If you apply to a job, we collect the details you submit in that application, including your CV/résumé, phone number, and answers to screening questions. If an employer purchases a Featured job listing, payment is processed by our payment provider (Flutterwave) — we do not store your card details ourselves.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to operate the platform: matching job seekers with relevant jobs, letting employers review applicants, sending you notifications about your applications or job postings, and — with your consent — sending career-related emails. We may use your approximate location (detected from your IP address) to show you jobs relevant to your country.
4. Sharing your information
When you apply to a job, your application details are shared with that employer. Your public profile information (for employers: company name, logo, description; for job seekers: whichever visibility setting you choose in Settings) may be visible to other users. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
5. Third-party services we use
We rely on trusted providers to run Aspirra: Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage), Flutterwave (payment processing), Resend (transactional email), and Google (optional sign-in). Each of these providers has its own privacy practices governing the data they process on our behalf.
6. Your rights
You can review and update most of your information at any time in Settings. You can permanently delete your account and associated data (applications, saved jobs, job postings) from the Settings page. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local data protection law, such as the right to request a copy of your data.
7. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the service. If you delete your account, associated personal data is permanently removed, except where we're required to retain records for legal or accounting purposes.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or through a notice on the site.
